Hey, friends, a lightspeed update... I'll be away for a few days in order to finish my Draco/Harry canon cup fic (for "canoncup" comm at LJ), so anything real urgent drop an e-mail to me, okay? Have all a wonderful week!^^

I've just read on several Heroes blogs that the Writer's strike has get to an end, at last. I'm glad for them since they indeed managed to get some of what they were fighting for, as a writer first and foremost I give my support to them!

However, I'm also very happy that they are back to writing my favorite series scripts, Smallville , Supernatural and, of course, Heroes, are back on the filming, I love these series and I have to confess I'm tired of reshowings over and over again...

Heroes will be back on September with the "Villains" storyarc, which I'm anxious to watch. Sylar is going to be a star (as he always is, with or without powers!^^), Mohinder will be there (my, isn't he a stunning beauty?) beeing harassed by Sylar (and now Bennet, I suppose), and Hiro has gone bad, huh? I really hope it be more excitating than "Generations", which was a bit too slow for my taste... (will say more on season 2 later)

And now, back to my writing...

Well, I did it! SInce I can't find more fics, I entitled myself yo writer them and enhance the (almost ghostlike) fandom. Here goes my first attempt, it's nothing too slashy or graphic, Norrell isn't yet the way I think he is in canon, but I think I'm getting there...

Well, guess that it really suits me!

Yay, last night I've finally finished reading "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell", at last! The final four chapters were breathtaking, a real turn of events and real action, with lots of surprises and Norrestrange (that's how I've just named the pairing, since it seems to be an orphan one!). That was a pleasant book to read, it gave me a new couple (or better to say, two! *smirks*) to write about, very interesting characters to work on fanfiction, and it was a pity it ended so soon... I'll write more about it later...

I also found out that New Line intends to make a movie based on the book, and since there's nothing yet about the cast, I get both happy (thinking on Lord of the Rings movies, suspicious (thinking on the HP movies) or scare to death (thinking on freak adapatations such as Narnia and Golden Compass!!...anyway, hope they make the movie as good as the book as possible.

About my Norrestrange fic quest, I've not quit, but decided to stop for a while since I've decided to write my own Norrestrange fic. Don't know if it's going to be a worth reading fic, but I'll try.

Okay, I'm posting under a cut since there are huge SPOILERS for the book in here... ( On to the magic... )

Well, in my new struggle to enhance the "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell" fandom, I'm trying to convince people on ffnet to add it to the books section as one single fandom, and take it out of the "miscellaneous books" section. Does anyone know what exactly I can do in order to achieve that? There are books there with only one fanfic and they have their own page, so why not JS&MN as well?? If someone can help me around, I'm much thankful!

PS: If anyone wish to suggest other fanfic sites where fics on this fandom would be welcomed, go ahead and let me know, k?

...k, I'm half through "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell" book (which is wonderful,btw, I will post my thoughts on it later on), and my mind is intruding into my working (which is a thousand times less interesting than the book, so no blame to my tired brain!), requesting some Norrell and Strange slash reading... I've quickly searched for some slash fics of them, but found only of other book characters'... If anyone has seen a fic like that around, could you please rec this for me? (and help me shut up my brain and convince him to go back working...)*roll eyes*OO!

Thanks to someone who pointed out I never come here, here I am!! In fact it's just a quick hi, I have to work more on this journal before actually posting more on it, but anyway, it's such a nice kinder place (kinder and "safer" than Lj, I might add) that I'll have it as my official journal alongside LJ. Soon, I promise!

Okay, by now you must be wondering where I am or what I am doing... with a good reason, I'm sure. Well, all I can say right now is that besides being crazily busy with University final term papers (yeah, I'm graduating in a few months), I'm working on quite a lot of changes into my life, slowly, but I'm doing it, maybe some "enhancement" of what was already good and "fishing" some new good ones along the way. So this journal will be on a hiatus for a while, and I really apologise for all the ones who get annoyed or angry because of that, I know i haven't been a said frequent friend around here, but I want to be that in the future, because if you're in my called "F-List", is because I do learned to care about you and all your opinions and lives are important to me, so in any moment I want you to believe I forgot you or don't care about you anymore... you please believe is totally the other way round! I do care about you a great deal, my beloved friend! The truth is my life (RL specially) has turned so much upside down is so many ways, that I really need to fix things, to put an order the in chaos I've had to deal with...

So, sorry for taking this time off, but I hope you must find a better Amanda Saitou when I return from this hiatus time. Meanwhile, my mail is always open for you, always!

I'm trying to friend you all back as fast as possible, but as I've not been able to be online too much these days, I beg once more on your patience... *guilty face*... I've decided to make this one my official journal, but I won't abandon LJ either, only be here more often than in there...

Agora em português... Olá! Olá! Bom ver vocês por aqui, e agradeço por estarem me "amigando" mesmo apesar da minha ausência por aqui, saibam que os estou amigando de volta na medida do possível. Não tenho tido muito tempo para ficar online ultimamente, mas ainda tento trabalhar num layout bacana para o IJ, já que me decidi por fazê-lo meu jornal oficial de vez. Manterei o LJ ativo também, até porque tenho bons amigos por lá, que pertencem a outros fandoms e por isso (acho eu) não estão sentindo tanto a pressão do "expurgo LJ" tanto quanto os fãs de HP. Entretanto, é praticamente certo que aparecerei mais por aqui do que por lá nos próximos meses, estou pensando até em assumir uma conta paga no IJ, que parece bacana...
Ah, não precisam responder a este post se não tiverem tempo, tudo bem, eu só queria dizer um alô e dizer que esta conta está ativa, e ficará ainda mais depois que as fics ficarem prontas e puderem ser postadas...
